The Meat Experts (TME) was founded by David Choong in 2009. David first cultivated his interest in the gourmet food industry when he worked in a deli in Australia. Later on, he gained much of his knowledge and expertise while working in a deli in Bangsar which catered to expats.
At TME, food is more than a passion, it’s also deeply personal. Fresh deliveries are received daily from their meat purveyor and all meat is hand trimmed before making their sausages. They also never use organ meats or meat by products. All of the herbs and spices are stored in a temperature-controlled spice room to guarantee peak flavor, after which they are blended by hand before marrying with the select cuts of pork, beef and lamb.
